October 21 – 27, 2021

  • Shelter Residents: 5
    • SafeHouse Center sheltered 5 adults and no children during this period.
  • Calls Answered: 84
    • Our Helpline is staffed 24 hours a day. Survivors, their friends/family, and 3rd parties call for support, shelter screening, or resources.
  • Crisis Support: 13
    • Number of sessions spent one-on-one with an individual needing trauma support with an advocate.
  • Support Groups: 13
    • Number of survivors who attended a Support Group. We have 6 different groups. 4 sessions were held during this time period.
  • Legal Support: 91
    • Number of survivors who were assisted in navigating the legal system which includes attending court hearings and providing information on the legal process.
  • Emergency Response: 72
    • Number of times a SHC advocate responded to an emergency call. Survivors coming to our door (Walk-ins) = 4; Police calls = 39; Hospital calls = 4; Jail releases of a perpetrator = 25
  • Additionally, there were 13 survivors that called to inquire about receiving a Personal Protection Order (PPO)

    • Our Helpline is staffed 24 hours a day. Survivors, their friends/family, and 3rd parties call for support, shelter screening, or resources.
  • Crisis Support: 22
    • Number of sessions spent one-on-one with an individual needing trauma support with an advocate.
  • Support Groups: 17
    • Number of survivors who attended a Support Group. We have 6 different groups. 4 sessions were held during this time period.
  • Legal Support: 123
    • Number of survivors who were assisted in navigating the legal system which includes attending court hearings and providing information on the legal process.
  • Emergency Response: 96
    • Number of times a SHC advocate responded to an emergency call. Survivors coming to our door (Walk-ins) = 3; Police calls = 40; Hospital calls = 8; Jail releases of a perpetrator = 45
  • Additionally, there were 19 survivors that called to inquire about receiving a Personal Protection Order (PPO)
