All staff and volunteers who will be working directly with survivors or their children are required to complete our crisis intervention training program. This training is offered twice a year; it is comprehensive and prepares volunteers to become a member of the Domestic Violence Response Team, Sexual Assault Response Team, Shelter/HelpLine or the Children & Youth programs.

We invite you to join our dedicated volunteers in this important work.

The Fall 2016 Crisis Intervention Training will be:

September 23rd from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm
September 24th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
September 25th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
October 1st from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

SafeHouse Center offers free drop-in support groups every Monday-Thursday. The following groups meet every week at SafeHouse Center:

Sexual Assault Support Group: Mondays from 6:00-7:30pm
Men’s Support Group: Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30pm
Un Paso A La Libertad (A Step Towards Freedom): Miércoles a las 6:00-7:30pm
Domestic Violence Support Group: Thursdays from 6:00-7:30pm
