CANCELED – Direct Service Volunteer Training – Part 1

During this time of uncertainty regarding the spread of COVID-19, BOTH weekends of our volunteer training are postponed until further notice. Thank you.

This training spans two weekends:

• Fri – Sun, March 13 – 15
• Fri – Sat, March 27 – 28

Volunteers are required to attend ALL 5 days. See the full schedule below.

NOTE: Fundraising and Community Outreach volunteers are only required to attend this first weekend, Mar. 13 – 15.

All staff and volunteers who will be working directly with survivors or their children are required to complete our crisis intervention training program.  This training is offered twice a year; it is comprehensive and prepares volunteers to become a member of the following programs (volunteers are trained for only one program at the training):

• Response Team
• Shelter/HelpLine
• Children & Youth
• Support Group

In order to attend this training, you MUST have gone through the direct services volunteer application process and been approved to participate.
