Thank you for your interest in volunteering at SafeHouse. SafeHouse Center couldn’t provide such comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children without the generous contributions of time and energy given by its dedicated volunteers.
All staff and volunteers who will be working directly with survivors or their children are required to complete our 40-hour crisis intervention training program. This training is comprehensive and prepares volunteers to become a member of our Shelter, HelpLine, Domestic Violence Response Team, Sexual Assault Response Team or Children & Youth programs. We are currently accepting applications for our Fall 2010 training which will be:
Fri, October 8, 2010 - 5:30pm - 9:30pm
Sat, October 9, 2010 - 9am - 6pm
Sun, October 10, 2010 - 9am - 6pm
Fri, October 22, 2010 - 5:30pm - 9:30pm
